  • Marketing Technology Consultant

    Covalent Marketing, a growing consulting organization that provides marketing strategy and technology solutions, is seeking a Marketing Technology Consultant to join our team.  As a member of the consulting team, the Marketing Technology Consultant will serve as a functional marketing analyst helping clients design and execute efficient marketing campaigns and processes enabled through technology.

     

    Key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Member of a team responsible for the delivery and management of large-scale and complex solutions that marry marketing and technology
    • Ability to gather and analyze marketing/business requirements and translate them into efficient marketing solutions
    • Translate marketing planning and processes into workflows for our clients
    • Responsible for designing, building, testing and execution of efficient marketing campaigns within marketing automation technologies
    • Will work as a liaison between Marketing and IT to solve complex marketing problems
    • Understands the drivers of marketing performance and metrics
    • Provides a marketing or technology background in the following areas: Multi-Channel Marketing, Closed-Loop Marketing Processes, Data Mining and Analytic Concepts/Technologies and Marketing Strategy

    Professional Qualifications:

    • Professional experience working with Marketing Automation software
    • Has worked with one or more of the following Enterprise Marketing Management (MRM) Softwares; Aprimo, Unica, Alterian, Teradata TRM, SAP CRM, Epiphany or Siebel. Unica and/or Aprimo is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Marketing Automation methodologies, standards and best practices
    • Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools a big plus
    • Is intellectually curious and likes to learn new things
    • Project management skills and/or prior experience managing campaign execution from planning through to implementation, measurement and analysis
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong client facing and presentation skills
    • Critical and analytical thinker with a willingness to tackle tough marketing and business challenges
    • Bachelors Degree

    As a core team member, you will work with leading organizations to solve complex marketing problems our clients face on a daily basis.  You will be involved in projects that create, design and build new marketing strategies, as well as help our clients implement and integrate enabling technologies to support them.  More broadly throughout your career with Covalent Marketing, you’ll get the opportunity to develop strong leadership, problem solving and people management skills.

     

    Some of your daily job responsibilities are to:

    • Develop performance hypothesis and testing approaches that are well suited to the client problem
    • Assist with interviewing members of client teams and assimilating disparate views into unified perspectives and requirements
    • Gather performance related facts and benchmarks that place the situation into a context and then, after analyzing the data, provide insights on how to improve the overall customer marketing strategy
    • Design new marketing capabilities and processes for our clients
    • Work as a liaison between the client’s Marketing and IT groups
